Hello to all ,
I an looking for some help. i have a S 2000 W/ cashflow head cant get the net plex to auto config. I get not responding . i have changed out the following game brd, mother brd, bv head , bv IF card, ribbin cable , small com brd on the card cage . any help ...please im stumped!!!

What are the ID numbers on the DBV?

Hey thanks ,
the game was up just a day ago ,something must of blew, but im not sure what happened,i have replaced all the major componets and the usual suspects ,checked the settings,mabee i have forgot something

The MEI Cashflow has a board behind the BV head. You can reach your hand in there and pop it out with your hand. If you changed out your motherboard and everything else, it may be the issue. I have seen those occasionally fail and it is very simple to change. If swapping that doesn't work, check your harnessing and look at your other Netplex devices because they are on a parallel BUS. **You already stated interface card, ugh**

Oh, BTW.. don't even bother with your COM ports via the ribbon cable. Check the pins on your processor. You may have a short on the Netplex BUS so look at your VFD and Thermal Printer. Unplug each Netplex device and test by listening for the BV cycle after a powering on and off.

BV cyles fine,green light comes on ,BV is working , netplex wi confgure any thing , im going to S/O the PS now ,i think thats the only thing left /

Good morring to all ,
Thanks for all your help .I found out the problem. when my tech reseated the BV IF card he somehow pushed back pins #4 or 5 on the female side of the plug .i dont know why i looked back there ,but that is were the fault was!
