Well I finally got back to this game, and I have cleared it with the 224 but I cannot get the 2 amber lights with any key chip that I have and it will not allow me to set up the printer.

What happens when you leave it on for about 20 - 30 seconds with the key chip in? Do you get more than 2 lights?

I have used the Key 45 and never get the amber lights.
I do get the amber lights when I clear the machine but not with the key chip.
I can program it if I go to the key chip menu but it will not allow to set up the printer, it stays disabled.

Their are no sg chips or version chips on the board it is a flash board,
It only has a boot chip,sb chip and a slot for a ss chip. No other spots where they go.

I missed that picture at the beginning.  That's an "R-Board"....which stands for You-RRRR-screwed, unless you can find someone that can get you the special key chip needed for those....very hard to get those.

My advice...take that SB chip and throw in into another machine and run it with some 363's and GX1 chips and see if it plays.  If so, then just change out the mother and main board on the machine in question.

Yeah...that's the problem...special Key Chip needed to enable printer or change percentages of pay out, etc.  Problem might be though when you swap the mother and main board out you will lose the custom sounds flashed to that board.  Are you getting unique sounds now playing it in it's current state?

Darell, you need a RBK00001 Keychip for that particular R board, using the 224 Clear is just a backwards way around clearing it, and the Key 45 is just not correct, the RBK Keychips are a combination Clear and Key in one, and is accessed via the Key Menu, too bad the CHIP WHORES on eBay don't have it or you could get it for the cost of a cup of coffee, well until manufacturers see them up there probably anyway, I am not saying those sellers are IDIOTS for putting pics up there but then again if the shoe fits!!!!

Jim,you are sure up late,I am waiting at the hospital waiting for my daughter to have her first baby or I would be asleep by now. Thank you for the information, it seams the most logical way to handle it is to just change out the mother board and processing board.thank you

IF you have one use a legacy adapter, with the right chips on it.

I don't think you can do that and the game work, the R board is the main software there and the SB is just the paytable, but could try it, I never have, I can obtain the correct Key for it, will send a email, best wishes on the Grandbaby

I think it is misunderstood that the Enhanced "R" board is not needed here, that is the Software for the game theme, even though it uses a SB chip, either SB001000 or Specific SB on this particular one, you are not just replacing the Game Chips, Version Chip and Sound Simm, the reason for the Flash Board is for  more memory and functions, but hey if the SB does work in a non Enhanced CPU and the game plays then I have been schooled as my buds say at the dice table
