Not near the schematic right now but have a general question on this monitor. It is used on the Game Maker machines and has a touch screen.There is a enable circuit in the board I am working on. The initial indication is a chirping power supply, on this unit it is built onto the board. The enable circuit Q808 and Q807 had B to E shorts and two 12K base resistors were fried.

I assume something has happened in the FBT section, circuit traces back to a leg of the FBT, to cause this kind of burn out but I cannot find the culprit. If any of this vague info invokes a moment of de ja vu please let me know what your solution was.
