I have many konami 1.5 main boards that are freezing when loadind. Every thing says ok but freezes before it checks cd rom
Any one has experience repairing these
I have swapped sware and the rams
 Any help would be great

is there an error code that stops the loading of the CD files?  right now we have a game down for #937 error, bad cd-rom or media.  these discs and drives just crap out eventually and must be replaced.

if you're not getting any error codes then i would suspect a faulty board as well.  were you converting to new software?  did the games function before any changes were made?
