 :103-DO YOU MEAN THE VOLUME DIAL, ON THE BACK OF THE BOARD? ALSO LET ME ASK YOU IF  THE DIP SWITCHES  INDENTIFY WHAT KIND OF BOARD IT IS ,OR DOES THAT NOT MEAN ANYTHING FOR INDENTIFCATION 10 MEG OR  16 MEG ?

Yeah, the blue volume knob is only on the 10mhz board, and DIP switches are only on the 10mhz board.  The absence of the blue volume knob and the absence of DIP switches would indicate that it's a 16mhz board.

 :103-SORRY GUYS, BUT I TOOK A PIC. OF MY BOARD I RECENTLY BOUGHT, AND IT DOES HAVE THE TRANSSISTORS MARKED IN PIC, I HAVE ENCLOSED A PIC OF MY BOARD.  THANKS AGAIN

You have a volume control (blue knob). That is a 10MHz board. It also has the DIP switches.

 Help Scratch Head I HAVE 2 S-PLUS MACHINES, ONE HAS A 10MHZ BOARD AND THE OTHER HAS A 16MHZ BOARD , I AM MAKING A GAME CHANGE AND THE SP EPROM IS A  SP 1160 BUT ITS MARKED 16 MHZ I THE MACHINE I AM CHANGING THE BOARD IS A 16MHZ. CAN I USE THIS CHIP IN MY 10MHZ BOARD ? AND CAN I PUT A 16MHZ BOARD IN a 10mhz board ?  thanks for the help and i am not yelling, i forgot the caps was on again, not that it should really matter we are after all adults and some people just prefer caps so they can see easier.

If you take a look at the sticky post here in the S+ section called "SP and SP Lists" (direct link here), you'll see that the SP1160 is designated as 10mhz.  Despite the label on it (unless it's authentic IGT factory label), I don't think it'll work in a 16mhz board.

Did you mean, "Can I put a 16mhz chip in a 10mhz board?"?  No, you cannot.  The SS chips are the same for either board (assuming the chips are fast enough), but you need to use SP chips designated for the matching type of board.
