On Some S2000 Stand Alone Machines, I've seen Where The Progressive Jackpot Is Added To Continuously, Rather Then Tied To A Percentage Of Bet Amount.
I Can Not Find That Option, In The Progressive Set Up Menu.
It seems To Add Continuously, At A Rate Of About  One Penny Per Second,
Even When The Machine Stands Not Played.
Where Is that Selectable As An Option?

I Don't think, It Can't Be.
All the Numbers Data Base--Jackpot, And How To Add To It--Originate In The Machine CPU Financial Data Base.
I Think The MIKOHN Acts Only To Display Those Numbers.

The Ability To Display, and Add To, a Jackpot Number--Has To Come From The From the CPU Software--Somewhere.

It Has To Be In The way The Jackpot Is Added To
BY Bet Percentage, Or Some Other Way.
I Think You Can Enter A Single Amount--And Leave It Displayed. Unchanged.

(Probably By Entering A Number And Leaving The Bet Percentages At 0 Not Sure, Though.)
In That Software Area, It Would Seem logical To Be Able to ALSO Add At A Given, Continuous Rate.l

It Might Be In The "Bet Percentages" Area Somewhere, I Just Can't  Find It.

It's not.  Those machines are linked back to a controller.  In other words they are not stand alone.

I agree with Jeff, Those machines are either Wap local or regional. Thats why they are progressing without playing any credits in the machines

if you set the percentage to zero it will not add on the progressive.... on my progressive i have it set to 5% and yes it continues increasing after its played for a little while..... the higher percentage you set it on the longer it continues to progress without the machine being played.....

I agree with the rest of the clan here. There is no such thing as a "continious progressive" the values come from machine play/contribution and even if the link is not regional I am sure it is from other machines in the casino.

On the mikon controller there is an option called an odometer.
Rather than just displaying the current jackpot amount the odometer scrolls.
Within the odometer settings there is a speed option. If you slow it down enough after you stop playing the meter continues to spin while it catches up.

I run 4 machines with a linked controller between all 4 and if I get all 4 machines queued up and hit them all for about 5 plays each the meter will keep spinning for almost a min after I finish playing. Kind of a cool effect. However they do stop once it catches up.

Check this video as an example.  This is my machine and it is a stand alone machine - I have the % set to like 90 % - so the value continues to climb for a long time even after the spin has completed....
