No 3100, no brakes, but I did notice the whole machine started to slowly move backwards about 7 feet.

They did put holes in the bottom of the machines for anchor bolts to keep them from backing up 7 feet. I have extra ones!

If the Grand Canyon was 3 feet behind some of my machine I would like for them to walk 7 feet backwards.  CDS comes to mind.  Silly Me! Silly Me! Silly Me!

it sounds to me like your pin wheel might be warped i would try a different one and if you look under i/o tests there is a hopper test mode
