I have a schematic for an IGT  that uses the rgb 1401 monitor. Is your slot around 1982 model.  If so I can send you the schematic. What did you find out about using another monitor?

I don't know if this will be of any help, but Ceronix made a replacement for the RGBs used in the IGT Fortune 1 pokers...the early model was a 1490 & the later model was a 1492.  The 1490 had a connector that could be switched for either analog or TTL signal, if the connector was in the wrong socket the colors would be wrong.

If you take the time to recap the RGB monitor that will usually correct most problems.

Hope this helps...

Good liuck & God bless,
