Let's see how bad I screw this one up.

First you need to do one of two things install a lock for the cash can, or remove the hopper and look behind the cash can box, you should see two wires going to the cash can micro switch colors are green and green with blue stripe connect these two together. ( This should take care of your door open error.)

Either put some printer paper in or get e Key 31 and disable the printer  ( Your going to need a key and clear chip sooner or later )  Key 31 and clear 097

Press the white test button on front of MPU tray, without closing the main door, while watching  the led display press cash out button until you see Machine Out Of Service. when you see this press spin button, then press cash out button ( this should say machine in service ) press max bet button to save setting.

The Pic. of a truck is a high dollar BV bezel and tells you when you have a error ( I think most of that is correct )

You can play the machine without hopper installed, no jumpers needed. From what I can see in the pic. all you need for coin handling setup is a coin head and a coin comparator. By the way you have a enhanced MPU board.

OK Bunker what did I forget.

lol

I think he better disable the hopper payouts ( maybe set them to zero?)
or he will have errors when he hits the cash out button.

The little ambulance on the DBV means he needs to service it.
But maybe wiring up the cash box switch will clear it.
If not, I'd go into the options for the DBV and see if the DBV is enabled.

He better get some ticket paper for the printer too or
he won't be able to cash out credits.

Make sure you get a 13Volt coin comparator with the two green wires Plunger.

One thing I missed if you make it coin handling there is a coin chute that mounts right below the coin optics. It's missing

That's a Sentry bezel, and the icon in question 's an ambulance, not a truck.  Tongue Out It comes on when the BV is shut down.

The crossed circle is either simple or not simple, it means the ROM failed verification or the motor is jammed.

I've attached the manual for that model below...

Sorry guys but he is going to have bigger issues with this one.

If you look at the BASE chip its a WB and not SB. Please correct me if wrong but that is a WIDE AREA PROGRESSIVE set-up  and not STAND-ALONE.

I don't think that comm board will by-pass the WAP. The GME 1 & 2 is also for the WAP and my guess would be a special key chip but you would have to look at the PSR for that GME.   key 40 or 45 are for enhanced boards.

I might suggest you carefully read reply's 7, 8, and 10 above.  You have bigger problems here than open door, printer, and bezel errors.

 Agree with Post
Maybe you're going to change to some sort of Double Diamond
nudge chips instead of what's in there.
I'd start looking in the Bible for an award glass that has similar award payouts...
hopefully they will match your strips as well...

Yes the base, and game chips will interchange from a 502/504 board to the enhanced board. The 502/504 boards use a different mother board than the enhanced board so they will not interchange, unless you change the mother boards along with the MPU.

I'm guessing you have 3 of these machines, all with all the same theme. Take a look at all 3 MPU's and see if all have the same Base and Game chips ( the ones with the Orange labels in you pic.)  If all are the same your SOL. If by chance  one of them has a base chip with the numbers SB????? You should be able to get that machine working. The seller did say they were stand alone, why don't you give him a call.

If you have a different ( Not these 3 ) S 2000 you can put the base and game chips from it into the problem machine and get it working. Like I told you way back you better have a 097 clear and a 31 key chip before you start switching chips. If you don't, your going to have 4 machines down instead of 3.

When I read your post I thought you wanted to move the whole unit.

If you want to take the just the printer out then there is a slide bar on the bottom that you have to push in on while pulling out the printer which will remove the printer from the frame. Then the harness will have to be connected from the printer.

This information sure would have helped from the beginning.   I've never heard of a High Speed Reel chip.  Scratch Head Scratch Head

OK you need a SB001000 base chip ( I can't see in the pic. what Game chips you have ) what you have might work and might not. ??????  Now you need a reel chip from a S+ machine for what ever Plungerboy theme you are making. With a SB001000 you can make the machine just about any S+ theme , all you need is glass and strips to match the reel chip.

I would suggest backing off on the printer and progressives until you get the machine to play, then go back and work on them.
