I currently have a Bally Game Maker and have read threw all of the post that have similar problems and still have not been able to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Everything that I have read steers me towards the battery, My battery voltage is 3.6 volts.

I am wondering if I got the correct SafeRam Clear Chip?

The message I get is the following:
Graphics changed, use old graphics to view meters, or clear saferam to use new graphics

So I purchased a clear saferam of ebay for $12.00 from a reputable buyer, his feedback is in order for the parts he sells.

After I put the SafeRam Clear Chip in the P10 position and change the dip switch 7&8 I do not receive any additional message

So I am wondering if the chip is bad or I have the incorrect version..... Threw the post I did not see any different versions.

I am including some additional pictures

Yes I was very careful and paid close attention to the proper placement of the SafeRam Clear chip, I even placed the SafeRam chip in another 28 pin socket to ensure I would not bend one of the legs

The machine doesn't seem to recognize the SafeRam Clear chip...... Maybe I will have to get another one.

I just hate waiting another week for the part!

The DEBUG CLEAR CHIP is different then the reg. clear chip. If things are screwed up it will fix it.
Check with Jim @ BR. He's good on them

I just started having the same problem. I checked the battery voltage and it was dead. My question is once I replace the battery do I need a saferam chip to go through the process?
