Is anyone familiar with these machines made by Keeney and Sons?

I can pick it up locally for $150. Seems like a good price, but he states it doesn't work. When plugged in it lights up and hums. He hasn't tried anything beyond that. Being an electromechanical I'm thinking it can't take much to fix. I've never seen the game myself, but it looks like a two player game and maybe worth a few bucks if I can get it tuned up. What do you think? What do I need to know about these before owning one?

They're generally fixable, as long as nothing important is burned out. They're fun to play. They don't fetch very high prices, though, probably because of the size. I've seen similar games on Ebay go for $50, and quite a few withdrawn after nobody bid, so I think $150 is a bit optimistic. If you decide to buy it, I have a couple of them, a schematic for a (similar) Wild Arrow, a few spare parts, and a lot of experience getting them working.

Thanks, I'm picking it up sat and it'll be a couple days to get into it and see what's going on. The guys got a couple others he's selling for under $100, but I figure "parts complete" is the key to buy or not buy. I'll let you know as things progress (or not), thanks for the info. yes
