Ok guys- when I got my set of chips back from another member- the "Surprise party" music part would come up pretty quick and then while sitting the dotmation would display the "surprise party" and the "Surprise" every so often.

I put in another set of chips I got off Ebay- I still haven't got the surprise party to come up yet and the display looks like I kind of remember while in the casinos.

Which set is correct-and how long does it usually take before a "Surprise party" comes up normally?

Thanks;

Doug

Are you saying that while the game is idle that it will sometimes display, "Surprise Party" on the Dotmation display, or are you saying that sometimes when you play you'll get a Surprise Party and get to play the bonus round, even though you didn't trigger it with three of the bonus symbols on the reels?

According to the fine print on the paytable glass, it's possible to get a random Surprise Party on a non-bonus-triggering spin.  I've never had one on mine.   no

When the machine is NOT being played- the Surprise! would come up. it would act like it would if you were playing it-except no tiles were overturning and the music wasn't playing.
