I think I munched my Blazing 7's Pro 6000 Game History RAM (possibly by turning the machine off and on by unplugging it instead of power switch?  The problem came out of the blue).  The Lithium battery tests at 3.6v

The error code displayed is 83-7

I tried a DS1 SW8 Partial SafeRAM Clear but nothing came up, so I am assuming that I need the U28 U43 SafeRAM Clear EPROMS.  Where  / who is it best to get them from to ensure I get the right ones?

Thank you in advance!

Hey Wayne,

I have a set you can borrow if like and want to pick up shipping expense.  Otherwise you could buy a set from one of the pro's here on NLG to always have on hand.

Regards,

Jim

Well the Bally ProSlot 6000 (Blazing 7's with Progressive) reset perfectly.  One slight hitch.  I was going to and forgot to go through the options and write down all the current settings before it malfunctioned.  And of course it didn't preserve the settings for operating with the Progressive award.

So now I have a whole slew of inter-related options settings that I will need help with getting it set up again.  It is a Mikhon (Cham II+ ? I'd have to check on this) single machine progressive unit. Does anyone know what I'd have to look at to figure out which type of unit, hookup options, etc.

As far as I can tell the minimum settings options that I need to figure out are:

02 Progressive Type: SPL, PPL, MAPS, S/MPI/SASv 3/OTT/SASv4  (In the back of my mind I want to say SPL, but that could be a false memory.)
07 Number of External JPs (in this case 0001 I guess)
78L (0001 - 0032) Unique machine ID for controller (again, I am thinking 0001, but ?)

There are a few others.  I am going to try plunking around, but if anyone has a suggested setting set to help start me out, it would be much appreciated.

Nope, I haven't been able to hit on the winning combination here.  Any ideas on how I can configure the progressive again?

Did you ever figure out the right progressive settings for the Mikohn and for your machine?

Are you saying you already have the wba assembly?  Or are you asking for one?  if you need one, Jim at Blueridge likely has them, if not then let me know (Jim).

Thanks,
Wayne
