I have a chance to buy a Bally Gamemagic machine, but the problem is when you turn it on it cycles through all the games and on the last game the machine just locks up on the last game. This is the info the seller gave me. Does anybody have any info on the Bally Gamemagic or what year did the machine come out and are they an easy or hard fix. In my opinion it seems like these machines were short lived. If I can track down parts for my Odyssey then how hard can it be getting parts for the Gamemagic? Any help or info what be greatly appreciated!! By the way the seller told me when it locks up on the last game you have to power it off and on again and it goes through the same cycle again.

I've worked on a few Game Magic video slots.   The Ram Clear is same as  Game Maker.   Check the voltage on the  3.6 V Lithium battery.
It is a Windows  95  base platform...  Has a  disc drive for the  games.  In general the   Graphics are  OK...Sound is OK...  nothing that knocks your socks off.
The games are unique.  If the machine has the multi game disc... it will include  Roulette... Looney Darts.... Black Jack .... slots and pokers.
The oblong monitor is unique to the Game Magic.    Most of the Game Magics I've seen were "lightly"  used....  I don't believe the casinos  liked them...and sent them   "down the road".

The asking price on the machine is $150.00. I guess its worth a gamble. This machine kind of reminds me of the Odyssey. From the looks of it I don't think the screen is as big as the Odyssey. I will give it a shot and buy it. Thanks for the info.
