I am converting over a 3 reel s2000 to a 4 reel (super stars spin) I have the 4 reel shelf installed and I'm pretty sure the two connectors on the rear right of the reel shelf are hooked up correctly, problem is that I have (2) 12 pin connectors, one male one female remaining on the rear left od the reel shelf. Can someone tell me where these should connect?

Thanks,

David

so this bonus wheel picture shows where to plug in one of the two connectors on the left rear? Do I disconnect one that is already in place to plug my 4 reel harness connector? My machine is the long reel glass type so i don't think I have to do the other adjustments, do I?

Thanks

Yes, unplug existing connector from mother board and plug into bonus wheel plug, plug other bonus wheel plug into mother board. that is all it takes and Netplex will pick it up on bootup

The 5 reel controller board that you said to exchange with my exising one, is it directly behind the bill acceptor attached to the back wall under a metal plate?

I just did one of these a few weeks back and ran into a pesky reel error on start up.  After a few hours of total frustration  Silly Me! trying to clear the error, I came across an old post on "How to clear error: AUX REELS DISCONNECTED."  I don't know how to put in a link to it, but you can do a search on the text.  If you run into this error, this will save you some time.  Jack

Thanks for all your help guys, I got the machine up and going. One last question though, can I not set the multimedia sounds up for enhanced-preferred? all I am getting is the standard s + ding ding ding sounds on rollup and the standard reel spin sounds.

You'll need a multimedia board and sound simm to get enhanced soundss. If you already have that go to menu 3.0 and adjust sound options hissy fit

I have the multimedia board in there with simm svs00058, just when I get to the multimedia menu, it won let me change the roll up sounds or the spin reels sounds to enhanced. Do I need a special sb chip for this to work?
