The original Wells Gardner 19"  EGA monitor for my Toobin' arcade cabinet had died. To look for a replacement for that would be nearly impossible. So I figured "hey , how about if I get a converter board and hookup an lcd monitor to it?" Well , that didnt work too well . I couldnt get a picture to the monitor. I was using the RGB connectors and dont really know why that didnt work . Recently I came across a good used tri sync monitor from Billabs  ... a bl19c90t. My problem now that I am not sure about the AC hookup because the wires coming from the monitor are different colors. They're purple and  green  while the arcade supply is brown and green. Any quick way to tell which is hot?   Besides the obvious..... Help

If there's an isolation transformer then it doesn't matter.

Also the Hot wire on the monitor will go to the line fuse in the monitor.
