Not sure why I didn't think of this before, but I was curious if a WOF DSV SIMM would work in other games?   stir the pot / get cooking

I think the SIMM is a DSV00009 right?

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/puEdvEw8Ukw&rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/puEdvEw8Ukw&rel=0</a>

Can these SIMM's even be had?

Thanks,
Jason

3 Coin Standard Red White and Blue or a 3 Coin Double Diamond Deluxe is what I would try them in.  I'll see what I can dig up.

just different music played on jackpots on the wheel .....the dsv00092 is a newer version made for the wofs and i like it way better personally then the dsv00009......but in your case if you used them on a regular game you wouldnt see any difference besides if the machine hit a jackpot, you would here a different music being played....

Brian, do you know which theme that comes out of?

I'm investigating options.  Apparently, these SIMM's blow with nudge games.  I'm looking at trying one of these with my Red White & Blue with an SB100294 (standard non-Wildstar/multiplier version).

Thanks,
Jason

The 9 and 92's are used in ALL the 3-reel wofs,  Non-s-2000 enhanced.  The 105's are used in others if you are a wof fan you can deduct and calcualte from there.  The post about just the 9 and 92 used in those two games is correct and incorrect.  It was from an old list of simm usuage. Again the 9 an 92 on the standard platform uses 9/92.  There are all other variations on diff. platforms which you are not dealing with so those will not be discussed.  B.  Good luck with your "mix"-- applause,  B.

So here's a question probably for staz.

I understand that I'd only get the reel spin sound, the reel stop sound, roll up sounds, coin/bill in, ticket/coin cashout, jackpot, and any "bings" and "bongs" when a red seven or other symbol gets on the line.  I'm good with that.

Aside from the jackpot sounds, are there any differences?  I guess more than anything, I just want to make sure that the SIMM doesn't come up in the game as "incompatible."

I'll keep digging.

Why don't I try it for you?  Which simm you want me to try a 9 or 92 and in lets say a tabasco game a jennie,a munsters, titanic, mummy etc. etc. etc. etc.. Gotta go to the warehouse and pull the simms from the actual machines---------- Tongue Out  Jason,  You do not have a clue,  Hince the questions.  Like a baby bird just getting ready to fly.  The question again was probably for staz since he should know!.  Staz is the man on this stuff for sure--- Tongue Out.  Just buy the simms and try,  at the least you will still have good simms to use later and you know what I am talking about. The only game I would put it in is my Red White & Blue with an SB100294 chip.  I have bought sold and swapped a few SIMM's in different games.  Some work great, some partially work, some suck, and some throw up an "incompatible" message on the VFD.  Very generous offer to test it Barry...I appreciate that.  If you can't or don't have that SB chip, don't worry about it.  I might roll the dice.

Thanks,
Jason

I believe they worked on the 5 line wheel's and another MJ game from the I Love Lucy reel WAP

I do like the credit add sounds on wheels.. kinda indifferent on the spin sounds.. other than that, they're pretty useless.
