Unplug the ribbon cable,  release is at the front bottom. push on it while pulling the printer toward you.

If the printer is i right it should NETPLEX auto-config back into configuration. Check in the menus if it is enabled as well.

I think i found the problem,on bottom side of printeris a small brass pc that completly loose,in fact old printer this pc looks like it wore out.Is there away to fix that,or do i need a new printer? Also since the machine has 700 credits on it i cant use the key to bypass the printer. But could i do a complete clear, then use the the key?

if the printer is not working and you cash out (if hopper limit is 0) it will force a handpay.

Did you check and make sure the printer harness from the machine is plugged into the printer harness.

Are you getting Printer door open errors on the VFD when you insert or remove the printer?

If printer is next to the reels. look just below the printer chassis for two screws undo them and you can gain access to the back of the printer.

If the printer is in the top box there are 3 nuts to remove.

You should have a short harness plugged into it that has a 8 pin connector that the machine harness plugs into. the 3 pin connection is not used so do not worry about it.

You can do a clear and key and use the machine without ever installing a printer. Think about it, if you have coin handling why do you need a printer. Set the hopper for 50 coin pay and the rest to hand pay.

yes you can set the limits without being in key menu, but only if you have NO credits on the machine.
