Not sure, but take a look at this PAR (SS011920).

It calls the game "Project X - SPOX" and contains the following remark, which suggests that your SP chip goes along with the same game:

Quote
TYPE 5, PROJECT X -- SPOX GAME
Quote
* This paytable can only be used in conjunction with an ACCS Project X secondary device, and the total game percentage will meet the jurisdictional requirement.

I've never heard of ACCS Project X. I'll assume that it's a top box assembly knockout .  Maybe someone else here has. Scratch Head 2

Probably similar or competition to the X Factor reel game from WMS. Multiplier in the top box increases when a certain symbol lands on the payline until a win is hit then multiplied by number in the top box LED.

Based on the symbols on that PAR sheet, it looks like a Double Diamond type game with a bonus symbol on each reel that would "advance" the top box game.

It was created by AC Coin and Slot -- per this page, "1990-2006 - The company rolls out its first proprietary slot machine, an arcade-style bonus game for IGT’s dollar reel-spinner called Bonus Road Rally. Shortly after comes the next wave of proprietary hits that are still well known today including Empire, Jack and the Beanstalk™, Merlin™ and Jungle King."

From this 1995 article: "Mr. Seelig said, he signed 50 contracts with casino operators for the Bonus Road Rally "interactive slot environment," a $300,000 row of 10 slot machines with a Corvette race car theme. Mr. Seelig's company developed the game in partnership with International Gaming Technology, a slot machine manufacturer, and the Trump Taj Mahal Casino.

Bonus Road Rally is a marriage of slot machines and slot cars, vaguely reminiscent of a Boardwalk arcade skill game in which contestants use water pistols to move cars across a track. Above the slot machines, a mural trimmed in neon light is divided into 10 horizontal tracks. Scale models of Corvettes, representing the gamblers playing individual slot machines, move across the tracks. The faster gamblers feed the machines, the faster the cars move. The machines can be customized to provide rewards like extra payouts or noncash prizes as the cars near the finish line."

From this site: "It wasn't an overnight decision for AC Coin to start creating games of its own. "After about 20 years in the business we decided that maybe we had a few good ideas of our own," Seelig said. "We started out with a product called Bonus Road Rally, which was an outstanding failure." But, as the old saying goes, often times it's failure that breeds success."

From this page: "The earliest proprietary machine marketed by AC Coin & Slot was Bonus Road Rally. This first came out in the early 1990s. Others followed in short order."

From this site: "Over the years, AC Coin has created some game-changing products. One of its earliest games, Bonus Road Rally from the 1990s, was a precursor to today’s community-style games."

Here's an awful picture from a .pdf, but it's the best I found.  It looks like it's a bank of S+ slant tops with a wide bonus racetrack game on top of the bank.

My brain just put a little more 2 and 2 together -- ACCS = A.C. Coin & Slot.   propeller
