Hi all, I'm wondering if a ticket printer from a Konami machine can be used in an IGT machine without some kind of reprogramming. Don't know if the software on these is specific to a manufacturer, like BVs are, or plug and play for whatever machine you put them in. Scratch Head I have one I pulled from a Konami before I sold it and need to know if it's garbage or usable, thanks yes

Doing so would depend on which printer you have.
But I would believe you also have to change the interface board to netplex as well.

IF you can get the above done for under $40-50 complete which is the average price on ebay  for a S2000 printer. Raz410 has some for about $30 and I figure about $10-$15 in s/h
most have proper bezel and mount needed to install it next to reel 3 or in the top box depending which version you want.

So for what it would cost to make it work I could buy the right one? Oh well, didn't work in the Konami for lack of a $300 programming key so I guess it'll be a FREE for shipping deal
