Hi All, i am from australia and have a igt flash cash reel poker machine. I dont know the model but it has the credit display on the right and a long horizontal blue display which is saying call attendant, The machine worked fine until somebody tried to get a pay out with no money in the hopper and now i have the call attendant message. The key lock on the right hand side is missing - i imagine that this key would be turned and reset the error, from the wires inside the cab there are a few laying around but nothing i could work out. Does somebody know the model and if so what wires need to be shorted to reset machine, any help would be appreciated. year feb 93

Welcome to the site.  I have never heard of an IGT "Splash Cash" machine, nor a reel poker machine.  Can you please post a picture or two of the outside and inside of the machine so we can at least get some idea of what kind of machine you're talking about?  Thanks.

sounds like an S2000 machine to me.  when you open the door does the "call attendant" message change to something else?  this would give you (and us) a better idea of what the problem is.  i think the cabinet wires that connect to the reset lock are black with a red stripe and yellow with a green stripe; both are 22awg size wires.  i just looked at a gameking and its the same colors but there are two of each color wire.  both black with red stripe wires are connected to the reset lock but only one of the yellow with green strip is connected.  maybe you have to connect both of the black/red to the yellow/green at the same time to trigger the reset?  dunno honestly cause i've always had a reset lock... bust gut laughing bust gut laughing
good luck, let us know if you get past the "call attendant" message!

I think I would try dumping some coins in the hopper and closing the door.

Sorted out switch wires, there is a 4 pin connector which has 4 wires- white, purple, black and orange. When the switch is turned clockwise it contacts black and orange and anticlockwise it contacts white and purple.

Glad to see the title now says FIXED.

I just wanted to add for future reference that I suspect this is an Aristocrat/IGT machine.
