I have no sound.  This is a multi (10) game gamemaker with no number.  Can anyone make suggestions how to fix?

Thanks

Does it have a 2 row button deck?

If so then you need to remove the Sound board from inline

If not then check the MPU board volume knob.

If it does not do anything then the issue usually is with the MPU board or the speakers (trace them to to the backplane and check for loose connections)

Also check your MPU board with the game chips on it. If it says it is a V-8000 board then unfortunately it does not support sound as another member here found out. Although the 8000 board will fit and run the games in a 7000/7200 machine it is a Game Magic MPU and the sounds and game come from the CD not the MPU.

Dan,
Not to confuse but I was able to use the V8000 board but only with the deluxe sound card connected to the backplane.  So dedicated games which have their own sound chip can be used with the V8000 board as long as the deluxe sound card is used.  Otherwise you are correct.

The easiest way to tell your model. V7000 models have cash can access on the side of the machine. V7200 models access cash via opening of the main door.
