I have a box of the bill validators and all are marked that they were repaired or tested about 3 years ago.
None of them work.
They will pass all test functions and will calibrate good, but after being set back to all dips off they won't respond. I can install a known good one in the same machine and it works great.
When power is applied they won't cycle but in test mode they cycle and operate fine.
I find it hard to believe that a full box of them is bad and all do the same thing.

Since I don't have much hair left, I'm open to suggestions before I have to shave what's left.  3 Stooges

PS can someone verify that the file DBV-200-SS IDO23 V2.60 is a cksm of 65BE

Thanks,
The only other thing I could think of was corrupt data, but you just verified that's not it.

If these have been sitting for a while, you may want to try flipping the DIP switches back and forth a few times. Maybe one is stuck on. The fact it won't cycle on power up is odd unless maybe it's not in the correct mode. Just a WAG.
