i am looking to play a slot game called wild arctic by spielo.  I think it's in one of their multi game machines.  If anyone plays it or comes across it, please reply.  Thank you.  Terry

Great game, use to play it all the time.It was part of Spielos Powerstation machine. They were multigame machines. Some the games were Royal Spins,Magic Merlin, usually set up as quarter games.I played the 1 cent machines more,Alien Attack,Barracuda,Frost and Fire.I was SO pissed when the casino that I played them at took them out.

I would love to purchase one for my collection.I dont think that will ever happen though,I believe they were server based machines.

There is a game thats VERY similar to Wild Arctic though, its made by Aristocrat and called Penguin Pays.

I noticed you're from PA. Did you play this at Mountaineer Casino in West Virginia like I did? I enjoyed the Magic Merlin and Royal Spins and even Da Mob game on the power station.  Although I never hit a jackpot on Wild Arctic, I did on Da Mob, twice. Anyway, indeed I found that Penguin Pays slot machine. Thank you. I went so far as to call Spielo in Canada about a year ago about Wild Arctic.  Turns out they put the game back out in a new cabinet but it's in odd places like Montana and South Dakota. Terry

Hi Terry,
I did play them at Mountaineer and also at Wheeling.I miss them(so do alot of other people). The reason I heard that they took them out was they couldnt be converted over to ticket printers.
They were fun to play and hit really well. One weekend I hit jackpots three times on Barracuda.

Yes, that's exactly what I heard. Spielo's site shows the new game and the new cabinet. I only go to mountaineer now for the atmosphere. I play mostly at the little mom and pop shops up and down route 2 and usually do well. They pay at the required state minimum vs the other guy who has publicly said it's cheaper to pay the fine than their machines pay out accordingly.  The rep from spielo said they may put the wild arctic game into bars in Illinois. Dunno.

Well drat. Sorry to get your hopes up but i just checked the casino floor and we converted that one. We have Artic Spirit. I will ask the vendor when i see him if the machine is elsewhere.

That's okay my hopes have been dashed before.  It's a fun game and hope that somebody'll spot it.  I live in Ohio, so if they have it in Illinois that's within driving distance.

Thanks again.  That's what the rep said when I e-mailed them.  I have a manager friend in a WV Cafe and she said they only put that cabinet in casino's not the little cafe's in WV where they only are allowed 5 machines.  Terry

I had a friend look for that game there and she said it wasn't there?  Could you be thinking it was Arctic Spirit? which sounds like it but is not Wild Arctic.  Did you play the game?  It has a north pole symbol and coins.
