I have a machine I got in Las Vegas and now I am having some issues with it.  First I have no manual or any info on it.  I have no idea about how to reset it or do any trouble shooting. I have an error that says call attendant Hopper Malfunction Extra Coin Pay Out.  That is the error.  I don't have a reset key so I am getting one of those but not sure what else I need.  I am also in need of a monitor and not sure where I can get one or where I can get a manual.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hi Eric, and welcome to the site!

 NLG Welcome

Typically to resolve an extra coin paid out error you'd just open and completely close the main door.  There's likely a bigger issue to be dealt with (such as why the machine paid out an extra coin -- likely the spring on the hopper brake broke causing the hopper to keep turning a little bit after it tries to stop itself), but opening and closing the door should get you back up and running until the next cash out.

In order to identify your machine for sure, please post a picture or two of both the outside and the inside of the machine.  The numbers you posted in your thread title unfortunately don't tell us too much, but a picture or two would be awesome to make sure we're on the same page.

 Please Post Pictures

Thank you for the nice welcome.  I do appreciate the help as well.  I have posted a handful of pictures as requested.  I hope they help.  Thank you again for the help.

That looks like a IGT Players Edge Plus

1 it will not take any coins unless you place one in the coin comparator.

Do not use anything other than quarters (if you can legally) or .955 tokens or you will have hopper escalator issues.

Be careful! I don't think the escalator will work with the .984 tokens as they are larger than a quarter and will jam the escalator.

That is why I stated .955 size.

Do not use anything other than quarters (if you can legally) or .955 tokens or you will have hopper escalator issues.

Actually, based on the indication on glass to the left of the monitor (and according to the screen it's still set up to accept 10 coins), don't use anything other than nickels or it'll jam the escalator, unless you know that it's been converted over to a quarter hopper and escalator.

Agreed, that is an IGT Player's Edge Plus (PE+) slant top video poker machine.

As an aside, that little yellow insert that says, "Machine pays up to 1000 coins..." that is sitting on the floor of the machine in image 1725 belongs taped to the underside of the small red glass to the left of the monitor in image 1721.

- Does the "Door Open" message (next to where it says Coins In 0) go away when the door (hatch) is fully closed?

As far as the monitor, I think that roll-over on the top of the image is the result of some bad capacitors, but I'll leave it to the monitor experts to chime in and help with that.

So that there is no confusion I have a my glass says Double Double bonus poker but the machine looks exactly the same inside and out (other than the Glass)

I am looking for either a .pdf or a hard copy if a .pdf I can print it out not a prob.
