Hi, I picked up a bally 6000 today (winning for dummies 4 reel) plugged it in and all the lights are flashing and I get a CL P in the window. I'm new to Bally machines, where do I start? Thanks for any help on this. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Hail Hail Hail Hail  Soooooo, I went to take a couple of pictures of the board to post and I might of found my problem U28 & U43 have clear chips marked on them. Am I correct? And does anyone know what chips I would need to put back in there places? Thanks again

You need the chips that correspond with the game that you have, in this case the SMI's for "Winning for Dummies". (U28 and U43). The clear chips are in and that is why you have CL P (Partial clear). You need to see if the game chips came with that machine that you got. The other chips might not match your theme. a69mopar might be able to give you the correct SMI's for that theme.

If your spare board worked put the u28 & u43 chips from that board into this one & see what you get.
make sure you put the notch @ proper end

That's what it's about, helping each other.
Now is there a date on chip like 2003 or 2005?
If you have ticket printer you should have a 2003.

the chips have a 2003 on them,it does not have a printer on the machine though. Thanks again for the help! The games awesome! Once I figure out how to change the denomination and hopper limits I'll be all set! Going to put that in the search bar now.
