I do have a 9-1 in my display as foster asked under that part of the menu.

Well, you can do the clear and if that doesn't fix it, then you may just have a bad BV. BTW, did you clean the transport belts and rollers? If the transport is not grabbing the bill, the head will spit it back out. Usually you will hear it cycling a few times first though. If it's just spitting it right back out, it''s probably in the head. And did you verify all of the BV head dips switches are set to off? You never mentiuoned if this unit ever worked.

It has worked before, and all the dip switches are set to off. i will try the cleaning method again as well.
