I have been digging around and am still confused... loser  That's somewhat normal for me Scratch Head
If I understand it correctly S+ reel strips are a bit wider than S2K backlit strips???
And are there 2 different sizes of reel strips for the 4 and 5 reel S2K games?

Whats the real simple scoop here folks??      Weird Eyes

I believe you are correct about the width between s+ and s2000.

I don't know about the 4 & 5 reel s2000, never owned anything more than 3 reels..... yet

The S+ reel strips + glass kits work just fine on the S2000.

There might be a slight difference in size but I don't think it is signficant that you would need to change reel baskets.

I know the 5 wheel conversion kits change out the reel shelf but not owning one I can't comment if the reel size is different.

I know some of the "bonus" games have a 4th wheel that is a different size. In this case I believe the orginal 3 reels remain the same.

5 reel machines can have either a 2" or 2 1/4" strip. Games with a 4th reel bonus use a 2" strip for the 4th reel

Thanks for the info, the strips on my TD Red Hot Strike, are 2 inches wide, so I guess I am in the market for
a set of the narrow 5 reel LED reels.  Scratch Head yes
Unless the baskets are interchangeable on these????

I've never seen the 2" reels with LED backlighting except for the ones I made. I had a post on here awhile back about converting 2 1/4" reels to 2". It's actually pretty easyand mounting the LEDs to the 2" reel brackets.

x2.  The 2" reels I've seen are incandescent and the 2 1/4" are LED.  I can't tell if they are interchangeable, as the LED ones have security tape that I don't want to break.  Here are pics of each.

They're interchangeable, it just requires a small amount of maipulation and a decision on whether you want to move just the LED lighting or the baskets too.
