I was halping IFFV68 and noticed one of his machines has two power distribution boards in it.
One in top box (normal location)
One next to the reel back light controller.

And both have a few harnesses plugged into them.

Now I can see why the Motherboard has fuses on it.

This is very common in the newer machines. I have a few this way.

I bet the power supply is moved closer to the right side of the cabinet than the older games as well isn't it?

I believe you are correct. The power supply is slightly moved to the right.

The machines i have with the 2 netplex distribution boards all have 2 tier progressives in them i wonder if thats why ?

There is sure a lot of wires in this machine  . it makes  me always wonder how many could be eliminated and still work

I always say if it's working leave it alone! I wouldn't remove any wiring unless it is just player tracking stuff.
