What is everyone else using?

My doctor recommended Cialis...                                 (just kidding...lol)

uh...the little bumps are what we call "nibs" on a pinwheel... or "pins"?

There should be about just under a quarter inch of space between the edge of the coin and the next corresponding nib.
Here's some video clips in a thread at Reply #9 I did this morning that might help ya.
You need wider spacing between the nibs....>>>

I think he said he is using the smaller dollars, not the Ike sized ones. Shouldn't the quarter pinwheel work?

You need to change the Shelf Wheel to use Gold Dollars, you can get by with a 15 tooth Pin Wheel but with the Quarter Shelf Wheel you are pushing them up too high

From his first post:

I was just wondering if there were any coin comparitors for the new $1 coin.  I mean the Sacagawea or presidential dollars, not the large dollars that are really hard to get in bulk now...

Is there a standard size shelf wheel that will work?  is there somewhere I can buy just that wheel?  I'm having wire harness issues with my hopper anyway, so I probably should just replace the whole thing...
Do you think a $.50 hopper would be set up a lot closer to the goal right from the start?

this is the size you need

 Shelf Wheel SBA 0.965 - 1.110 X 14GA

i can point you to a place that has them, for 3.50 plus shipping. but would like to give the NLG folks the chance at the sale before i give to you.

i would continue with the 25cent hopper and just change the shelf wheel, so you can convert back later if you ever wish to.

Just wanted to update the info in post #21 from Danw about the $1 dollar coins from the U S Mint that you could order with a credit card and get airline miles. yes I thought that was a great idea, applause but they put a stop to using a credit card as of 7-22-11 no It figures they wouldn't let that slide for long.
