Hi all,
I have what could be a very simple and quick question. Is there a different hopper optic needed for a slant top S+ compared to the upright S+?

One of my slant tops is a 25 cent machine and I started getting 3200 errors, I looked at the hopper to see that the optic is broken and it was covered up with hot glue and black tape when I bought it. The optic on the slant top hopper is up towards the top of the chute it uses to push the coins out. When I looked at the upright machine that I just got, the optic is on the hopper itself near the actual wheel. They look extremely similar but I didn't know if they would be the same. My other slant top is a nickel machine and it has a different piece alltogether.

So my question is... would the optic on a quarter slant top be the same as a quarter upright machine?

To the best of my knowledge, yes, although I'm not sure if the slant top one would have a longer wire attached to it since it's physically located so much further away from the hopper (at the top of the escalator).  The actual optic pair, however, should be identical.
