It's all over the news channels now... Bin Laden was taken out today. He was hiding in a mansion just outside Islamabad, Pakistan.

To quote the POTUS... "Justice has been done."

Glad we finally got him.  Apparently he was living the hard life in a mansion, so far from modern civilization. no

I heard he was playing his IGT S2000 at the time, the machine survived, he didn't. Great testimonial to the ruggedness of IGT products....

Glad he is gone. Not glad that Obama will take credit for a mission that started long before he was in office.

He finished the job... Smiley

He spoke briefly last night and talked about the intel coming in last August and when they finally got everything nailed down he gave the go last week. Navy SEALs took him out. I don't recall ANY mention of Pakistani intelligence agencies being involved but CNN said they were informed they were. It would surprise me if more than just a specific handful of Pakistani people were involved. Too many leaks over there and it's shocking that the secret was held onto long enough to be successful.

You think it's true?
Has anyone seen any pictures of his body?  Scratch Head
You'd think his face would be pasted everywhere?

Could be just a ploy to lure him out...
I haven't seen any proof.
The news reported that they couldn't find a country to accept the body?
So, they dumped it into the ocean? lol
This story is starting to look a little bit suspicious really... no

Apparently, this was the "mansion" he was staying at? (Top photo)
That doesn't look like a "mansion" to me...has anyone seen Donald Trump's place lately? bust gut laughing
Here's a picture on google maps of his OLD house in Palm Beach, FL....lol  (Bottom Photo) >>>

If you go to Youtube and type "osama bin laden corpse" into the search box the pictures come up. I can't access them on my work computer because we're lucky here! We've got Fortinet! I can't access NLG on these computers anymore either. The site's been reclassified as gambling after 2 years.

Love Sadam or hate him he did a good job of keeping a number of religious factions in line.
When the US invaded Iraq it was a little like hitting a Bee Hive with a baseball bat.
You might have destroyed the hive but the majority of the bees are still about .... and you have just made them cranky !

I am not so sure that the same thing didn't just happen again. It would have been good to take him alive and extracted what we could have for information.

The world of network security we often create a honey pot. This lures in the hackers - then we shut them down one by one.
It would have been good to have used this turkey as bait.

Even if he was dead we could have faked he was alive and still used him for bait. Rolling stones has been using Keith Richards like that for years.
