Here is the story, I would get intermittent error codes 20 &24 so I repaced both the Coin Comparator and the optic board and still the same thing.....intermittent Error codes 20 & 24. After hours of inspection and testing I finally discovered what the problem was, my 25 cent Bonus Frenzy machine being a retired Canadian machine at one time must have been set up for dollar coins (loonies) so the black optic block is too big causing the coins to pass sometimes without being detected. I solved this problem with a simple fix, I got one plastic tie and wrapped it around the block on the oposite side of the optic window to narrow the opening. Now everything is great.
