I picked up a crisis zone arcade machine. it works but doesnt pickup the gun shooting. The gun motor works when you squeeze the trigger and functions but no shots fired. Does anyone now where the sensors are located? Or how to test them?

I don't have any specific knowledge of that game or how it works, but I think that gun games of that era generally used a combination of an optical sensor in the tip of the gun and the x,y reference of the scan lines of the monitor to determine where a person was aimed when they pulled the trigger.

Do you have the manual for the game?  I presume it should have some troubleshooting steps for the gun.

If you don't have the manual, there are four Crisis Zone downloads here (scroll down to the "C"s) -- I haven't looked at any of them, but perhaps they may be of help to you.

Thanks for the reply. I cleaned the lenses and then i reached under the console where the gun plugs into and the crosshairs came up. It was just a loose wire. Couldn't get that lucky again if I tried. Game is up and running, now just have to get the kids off of it.......lol
