Not having anything BUT Windows 7 (some with 64 bit, none the less) in the house, I was determined to find a solution for running PSP, and I finally got it!
I created a bootable USB stick that loads up a FAT32 dos prompt. Took me several trial-and-error attempts, but in the end I used the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool V2.0.6, combined that with a command.com, IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS file I grabbed from the net, and the PSP software I already had from long ago.

I'm working on packaging it up for everyone here (In both a "Do-it-yourself" variety as well as a "Just click and go" image writing method), but before publishing I have a couple questions:
1. Can someone send me the PSP 3.0 software I hear exists? I have version 2.0. I have no idea what the difference is, but I'm thinking 3 is better than 2.
2. What happened to the file upload area? Is there a place to publish these types of things these days, or is it all just done via PM now?

Here's everything you need for the "Do it yourself" method - includes the program to format a bootable USB device, the needed OS Boot files, PSP, and a batch file to run it upon booting (PSP 2.0 included, but feel free to replace with your own version). I'm not familiar with the rules about posting these types of files, so you're welcome to kill my post if I'm breaking the rules. You're also welcome to post this in the file area if you'd like. Or, you know... you could give me access one of these days. Or something.
