Have a situation where I need to install new 3.6V batteries on S2000 Boards.   The boards I have with the batteries seem to run a short range of differences.  All are 3.6v.  Some are NICad.  Some are NiMih.   Some are 110MAH.   Some are 150MAH.

Question: Given the above, is it safe to say that the requirements for this battery are to be: 2 tabbed, 3.6 NiCad or NiMih, with an MAH of between 110 and 150 (Inclusive), regardless of maker?  And is the size 1/2, 1/3 or 2/3 AA?

Best answer gets karma and the knowledge that you salvaged my weekend.   And a free drink when in the DC area.

Bob, you can remove the Nicad battery as it is not needed and leakage will cause board troubles, just replace the Yellow Edged Lithium Disc battery, it is 3 volts, it is the one throwing the code for low battery, the oem battery was a Panasonic BR 2330

Wish I could...and I think the batteries were removed because of their habits of leaking like a seev (sp?).   But the person who is taking them is setting them up to work on a system, and needs them in.    Otherwise, I would not even bother with this as I HATE sodering (I am more the screw driver and hammer type).

After seeing what Megan can do near a Transformer, she would most likely blow the hell out of slot with her overwhelming charge.....sorry....perverse mental image deleted for improper use of a smoore on a female celebrity.  But it was worth it.
