I bet I have had this machine for at least 20 years. it stopped working about 5 years ago. I have books and schematics and a pretty good record of electronics repair over my 50 years.. but this thing has me ready to sell it!!!!!!!!!!! does anyone know of any good slot techs for these older bally ems in the Phoenix area??? or should I just break down and drive it over to new life games???? or just sell it (I really dont want to do that!!!) but I totally give up!!!!!!!!!!!

Last time I talked to Dave he was back and forth between the East and Phoenix Send him a PM or email (Slotmaster ) if it's a slot machine he can fix it. Also try Dick ( djslots ) in Phoenix, if he can't get to it he will know who can. Their emails are in their  profiles.

Another idea is take it to Joey a few days before or a few days after the 4th of July Get your machine repaired and a free BBQ all in the same trip.

Why don't you just seek some guidance on this site ?

why not seek help... well, its just that I have sort of given up on it. Ive worked on and been able to fix em pinballs, em bingo pinballs, system 5000 slots (board level repairs) outboards, cars, car computers, antique radios and just about everything thing else you can think of. My repairs last and are done right.. but this beast!!!!!!! I have tried and tried to find the issue, but at some point, I have given up on it!!!!!! sometimes you have to admit that you just cant fix it!!! LOL ill try and get ahold of Dave!!!!

You might want to contact Foxsslots1 or Op-Bell. They both have extensive EM knowledge. Another expert is OldReno, but he is rarely around.

I know you have thrown in the towel on this slot, but please let us know exactly what isn't working right on this thing.  Aw come on, I love laying awake at night pondering unsolvable problems  : )  I've thrown in the towel on a couple of pinballs myself so I feel your pain, but they were solid state ones.  I know I can always figure out an EM eventually, but I've got paper-thin patience when it comes to an SS pin with multiple & interrelated problems.

Have only had a couple of these EM Ballys myself but even they have given me a few hair-pullers before I ironed them out with enough poking around assistance from forums like this one.  Thanks.

There is nothing that can't be fixed on an EM, but we have to know the symptoms.
