Hello,

Very new to slots. I have an IGT that I got from a friend that got me hooked. I recently bought two more and the guy threw in this bally slot machine. I know very little about the IGT's and nothing about the bally machines so this is where I need help.
Going to try and post a few pictures (hopefully)  but the machine takes three coins and says:
Ballys trasure tunnel
model name: reel slot
model number: SG-150B plus

the machine would turn on and the wheels spin real slow. At first it said ram data is wrong turn on off reset switch. I reset using the key on the outside of the machine. Then the wheels just stsarted spinning and would not stop. I shut the door but then smelled smoke. quickly unplugged it and open the door. The large ribbon wire that goes from one of the boards on the door to the main board had a burnt wire from one end to the other. Now the wheels spins until you shut the door, then two of them stop but the third one keeps spinningand the dollar bill light keeps flashing.

First thing you have to do is find why cable shorted out & get another cable.
I'm not sure but I thought a SG-150 was a Sigma.

If it's a Sigma SG-150 you can download a free manual @ Rudys

machine says Bally on it but then it also says Sigma on it. I thought Sigma made Bally ?

also the whole inside of the machine looks like it was used as a mouse cage....dropping everywhere that I cleaned up.

Where to get the new cable ?

and thanks for the reply

You can check with John @ Rudys or post on classified section on here.
Make sure you check ALL wires to make sure the little devils didn't chew more up.

What you have is a Sigma machine made for Bally's casino.  They aren't affiliated with Bally Gaming/Bally Technologies at all anymore (if they ever were).  All parts in it are Sigma, not Bally.  Use the manual Ford posted a link to, to work on it. yes

Oh yes, sorry. I did get the manual and atleast I know where everything is now. I (think) I got it working but now it shows a low battery.

Once again, thank you everyone for the information.

i don't know jack about the Sigma games but low battery is probably referring to a small battery on the main processor board; most can be purchased from Mouser, DigiKey, Happ, or AG&E and are pretty easy to desolder and replace.  g/l!
