I wish I could get two top symbols on the line! (split from another topic)

i just wish i can make my machine  get 2 specific symbols to drop on the line never mind getting 3 of them to hit the progressive that will never happen lol...... id be happy with 2 just to get the thrill hahahaha .......and my progressive started at 1,000,000 and now its at 1,430,000....... and its set at 5% so you can imagen  how much play my machine got and still no 2 specific symbols on the line

What's your denom again? I think it was $50, but CRS.

If it's 3 coins @ $50, then you're a bit behind the odds if you haven't gotten two on the line yet. The odds of getting any two on the line (but not the third) are 1 in 32,864, and if my info about your setup is correct, you've played a little over 57,000 games. That's within expectations. Remember, those odds are for ANY two, not just the odds of getting the FIRST two. That would be 1 in 65,664.

I seem to recall that you swapped kits for a while. If the progressive kept growing while you were playing the other game, then you've naturally played fewer than 57k games.



Now Staz, considering the once in a lifetime odds of getting all three on the line, have you ever considered what you're going to do if it happens at home instead of at the casino?       I know... Bad Stat

i would jump off the bridge... hahahahahahahahaha but wait now my machine is multi denom $5 $10 $25 $50 playing 3 credits now my progressive runs the same on all 4 denoms..... does that mean each denom is a seperate game and the odds of getting 2 on the line differ in each denom.....so would my odds be a lot higher.....
my highest wiN on my machine was 150k i hit 7 5x X .........dues that count as 2 in a line do i have to wait another 32,864 games before i hit another 2 on a line....

No* to both questions. I did not count the 5x as being part of any two on the line, because it's NOT, and the odds for getting two JP symbols wouldn't change. However, in that case, I can't calculate the number of hands that you've played, since there is no specific value to each spin and I don't know how much time you've spent playing at each denomination. You said that you've set the percentage to 5%, as opposed to incrementing a specific amount each play (it goes up less when you play the lower denoms), so $430,000 still represents $8,600,000 in action.

*I can say "no" with certainty because the odds of getting the top symbols don't change with different paytables, so it doesn't matter whether or not you used different payback percentages for your different denominations.

all my payback % are set at 92.8 ........its wacky some days the machine doesnt do nothing and then some days it pays out like crazy on all denoms..... i did notice one thing the theme i put in temperally  double 3x4x5x hits more often but pays very little compared to the 5x theme..

Hmm.   I have it listed as 93.0 (92.95). I might be looking at the wrong sheet, but no worries. All versions of that game have the same odds of hitting the top prize, regardless of other differences.

Ok it was on a different game! but it is hard to get a good hit on this game., yet it still one of my favorites because of the sounds an colors.
