I use arcade tokens in my slot. When I filled up the hopper the tokens went over the full sensor which was screwed in about half way up which caused the coins to be rejected into the bottom of the stand. I moved the full sensor up to the highest hole. Is there a preferred setting for the full sensor? Could the hopper break if I leave it like this or could it cause other problems? Thanks

I have all my slots set to the highest level and have never had issues.  These things were meant to take heavy use, so I wouldn't worry.

Most casino that I've been to have had them set to the highest hole so hopefully there'd be less re-fill requests.
Make sure your machine is grounded correctly or you will experience a horrendous electrical shock
when you put your hand into the drop bucket.
The shock itself won't kill you but it's enough to send someone completely startled flying backwards
into something that will hurt you...such as a concrete floor or down a flight of stairs!...believe me...I've seen it happen!
We had to get a ski-pole with a automobile battery clamp and touch the coins with that pole wearing thick rubber gloves!
The problem had laid with the building's ground not properly working correctly with the machine outlets!

We have an old black& white video somewhere of a floor employee flying
backwards about 18 - 20 feet and then down the stairs to the basement!
Luckily they didn't get hurt!

...But the basement was ruined!  Duh! Cry Laughing Cry Laughing Cry Laughing

Seriously, this shouldn't happen, and won't if the machine is properly grounded and your home is wired correctly.

This came to mind when you mentioned that:

I'm not usually one who is for suing over everything, but I hope that lady got a good payout. What a bunch of idiots for leaving it open like that. At a minimum they should have made sure she knew it was open by having her turn around and look.

Holy Crap! She dropped like a stone.
That looked like that would have hurt!
She had NO CHANCE...ouch!

I worked 20 years on skyscrapers and bridges...you would not believe how many workers walk right off the edge like that.
OSHA started pushing 100% tie-off to safety lines...saved a lot of lives.

At the very least - that lady needed to be warned and a barrier placed around that opening.
But since it was probably in a mom & pop store - they probably let her have the week off with pay... Duh!

I've worked in those small stores. They probably let her have the week off WITHOUT pay. Silly Me! no ... and they're too small and cheap -- I mean broke, to have employee health insurance.
