What is the difference between Clear Chip 31 & 45.
Does it have to do anything with the SG #?

okay...lol...just kidding ya IFFV

Take a look at this sheet I've attached below here to this post.
It has more to do with what board you have installed rather-
not so much so with what SG chip you have...
The Keychip 45 will cover more popular boards than the Keychip 31...
Your game PSR will tell you exactly which is required to use.>>>

Is that OK to ask or do I need to do another post. Not certain on that rule?

Richard  Tell you a little story about SG000155  I bought 60 S 2000 most of them had SG000155 in them.  I started getting a lot of reel tilts on one machine, I mean like almost every spin a reel would tilt. I preformed all the standard things to prevent this, like cleaning reel optics and so forth, nothing help the problem until one day I switched the 155s for SG000363. No more reel tilts on that machine.  Now this doesn't prove a whole lot except, after the first machine at least 4 more machines started doing the same thing.  All of them ended up with 363 and no more tilts.  I have two machines exactly alike, 5 Times Pay R W & B, one has 155s and the other 363s . Switch the boards between machines no reel tilts!  Scratch Head Scratch Head Scratch Head

If you ask me why 155 do this, I don't know !! But my conclusion is, 155s are junk and belong in the trash can. They must have worked in the casino's but their track record with me sucks.

Bunker  How can you say a Key 45 covers more popular boards ?   I've key at least 150  S 2000  with a Key 31 and it's never failed me one time, perfect track record. How can a Key 45 do more than that ??  I could care less what the PSR calls for, I care about results.

I agree with you Buzz...you mentioned that a few times before.
I was just going by the fact that IGT says in the document that I've put up, that the Key 31 is to be replaced by Key 45.
To me, that reads as : Well, the "Key 31 is good but the Key 45 is better?"
Or "The newer model is better than the older model"?
"yeah right" is what I usually think when seeing that... rotflmao

However, you've had more experience and success than I using those particular keychips so that's why I agree with you... yes
Click on cut out below to enlarge & see where I'm reading this stuff from...lol >>>

You're right about that Buzz...it was NOT written by IGT.
I have no clue as to the originality of that list I posted in Reply#2.
I just got it from someone, who got it from someone, who got it from someone...etc,etc... rotflmao
