Changing IGT from 25 cent to large token

I'd like to convert my IGT S+ quarter home machine from 25 cents to a larger token, maybe 50 cent piece size or silver dollar size.  What parts to I have to change out to do this and what token vendors do you recommend for brass tokens?  Thanks

It is easier to change to 50 cent from a quarter, and cheaper on the tokens as well, sent a pm

why do you want to do this?
if you want tokens, just change to the near-quarter
sized tokens. then all you need to do is change the
coin in the coin comparitor, and you're done.

Dollar tokens are great!!!
I love the sound they make when falling into the tray.

dollar tokens are expensive too.
i guess i always think in 'generic' terms and want
to use the most common denominator around,
the thing that is easiest for both me and the player.
Having a specialty coin would be more work in
keeping hoppers full (or giving tokens to patrons).
for that reason i use the generic quarters. (though nickels
work well too.)

When I got bored with quarters and wanted a bigger splash in the tray I went all the way and got $5 tokens and the related hardware. They REALLY make some noise, are a blast to handle, and they make quite an impression when someone visits.

I changed my silver dollar or dollar token machine to a 25 cent coin/token. The dollar tokens are very expensive and silver dollars are difficult to find. It is easy to make the change over either way and many members will sell you the parts. I now use 25 cent size tokens exclusively since my friends and grandchildren liked to take quarter samples home. Have a Happy New Year.

OK, What I think I want to do is simply convert my .25 machine to .50.  I should be able to just convert my quarters to halves at the bank.  My question is what hardware will I need to change out?  It looks like changing the silver coin entry slot could be a challenge.  It it that difficult, will I have to take the whole door apart?  Will I need a new comparitor and new parts wheel parts too?  Is there a simple kit?  Thanks

We have all the parts together, you will also need a SET chip for the BV to change the Denom if you have a validator, you don't have to take the whole door off, you have to take the Hopper apart and remove the Coin In assy and change the black encoder at the optics and the coin head simply unscrews from the inside underneath and the backing plate unscrews from the back of the head
