Happiness in life is a great dog

Hi All, I installed a 6-6-3 display with touchpad on one of my machines, cleared it and set up all denom, payback% and touchpad button assignments, but the denom doesn't change when I touch the 4 differant areas for differant denoms. I went back in to keychip menus and double -checked my settings and have

Player 1- .01@98.?% assinged to button 1
Player 2- .02@98.?% assigned to button 2
Player 3- .03@98.?% assigned to button 3
Player 4- .05@98.?% assigned to button 4

7 segment diplay setting is set for 6-6-3 and it works fine, but still can't touch the pad and change denoms. By the way, accounting denom is set for .01 and machine won't change off that player denom. Any ideas? Thanks for any and all help yes

You most likely know this but just to check. In setup are you sure they are not disabled.

Hi Ford, yep, checked that. In fact, right after I posted I went ahead and pulled my head out of my a$$(I think the neighbors could here the popping sound a block away) and looked at the back of the touchpad. It seems that slot techs or someone will occassionally chip off 1 or more of the 6 leg ICs on the back of the pad to permenantly disable 1 or more quadrants of the pad and mine was missing all 4. Fortunately I had an old pad I'd saved that still had 2 quadrants working so I can at least have 2 denom options till I find one with all 4. Classified ad to follow yes
