In the end, I see that there's two amber LEDs "On" on the belly-side I/O and a single LED lite "On" on the hopper-side I/O card.
The Line Bet board has a continuous green LED "On".
All of my questions are now answered and I'm using a Line Bet harness
I made myself with the help of you guys!

LOL This is how it went down!

I gave Reho $50 bucks to play a sit down slant poker machine for me
while I played $50 at a $10 Min. Blackjack table.
While the dealer shuffled, and went over to check on his progress.
He was up and down like a see-saw after three shoes of cards.
I was also up and down - never had a chance to raise my bet any higher than $15... hissy fit

Finally, during the 4th shoe - I nailed 2 blackjacks in a row and 2 double-downs!!! yummy
I cashed out my chips and walked over back to Reho holding $100 in chips!
He was way down to like around 25 credits then hit 4-of-a-kind with something
and got the credits up to around 200-something!!!
I told him to "CASH OUT!!!!! rotflmao

We split $130 from the poker machine.
So all in all, I was up $65 bucks and because I told him to keep
half of $130 he made on the poker machine- he won $65 as well !
And he needed no starting capital too!
Am I too generous?!?!  Cry Laughing

okay,
I want to change my touch panel denoms on my Cleopatra 5 reeler.
I can only get one square to program at the moment...
I totally understand the fact that I need to perform a Clear in order to
make denom changes but I need to know in what order do I make denom changes?

I would like the 4 touch panel squares to be:

.01 cent
.02 cents
.05 cents
.25 cents

Step 1: Perform a Clear
Step 2: ?

Then set accounting denom to .01, set payback percents, set player denoms and finally, set touchpad assignments

zarobhr,
I 've had this touchpad for about a year and did some posts on how to make the tiny little harness for it along with the links to the places where to get the parts for it.
If I had another board, I'd be glad to sell you one of them as I only have a single personal machine.
The multi-denomination touchpads are NOT made by IGT but rather, some other company and they're called "TouchCells" really.
I think they're made by 3M but it's been a while since I dig some digging around for them.
Here's the link to the thread we did on them about a year and a half ago...>>>

http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=6854.0

Then set accounting denom to .01, set payback percents, set player denoms and finally, set touchpad assignments

I did get the TouchCells programmed the way I wanted but I know one thing - it wasn't in the oder you told me... rotflmao
I screwed around with the options & settings and finally got it to program after putting in the Keychip31 again.

LOL This is how it went down!....
Way to go. I'm happy for you guys having a good weekend.

I actually only saw Reho and his buddy for a few hours 'cause I had to take off and go watch a youth football tournament.
I'm not sure where those guys went afterwards! lol
I hope they had fun because it was a gorgeous weekend to be outside!
Changing-of-colors happening up in the Northeast here right now!

Okay, Just an update on my old Line Bet display board.
I soldered in a new Littel Fuse 1A fuse and a new 22uf cap.
I swapped my displays and the old one now works great too!!! Whoo woo!  Dancing Party
Now I have a working spare Line Bet display panel...maybe I oughta get another machine huh?  Tongue Out
Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic...my better camera was elsewhere...
At least you can see it's all lit up nicely with me betting 5 credits per line!  yummy>>>

The tricky part about soldering these IC components is that
they usually fold the IC legs underneath the body.
There's just a smidgen of tab on the edges where I can get some solder to weld.
If the flux is placed just right, the solder runs underneath just right
to the tabs and connecting traces with the heat drawing the solder nicely.
It really is a lot simpler and easier done than said... arrow
