Staz, That was not the right time... Also the coins are in the trays so that customers can play the machines... You have to remember that this is a retail establishment trying to sell machines... This gives potential customers the real feel for the reel machines! Playing just from credits is not the same as dropping tokens! Now the trays are empty, and we have to pull coins for potential customers to play now. propeller

Look at CAM4 on the bottom right at 0:34ish and watch him bend and grab tokens from the slot tray on the left. That machine has $1 tokens. Also look at 1:15ish where he grabs some quarter tokens.

I will post this for you CSIs Sherlock Smiley Sherlock Smiley Sherlock Smiley to examine, and will do another post with some story and history behind this.

CH CaptainHappy, I won't spoil the fun by giving details as to when or where to look on the video.

I found this site containing public court records.
http://apps.supremecourt.az.gov/publicaccess/caselookup.aspx

Just type in "Phillips" for the last name and "Billy" for the first. Don't type in Wayne or you won't get any records, even though he is listed that way.

This guy has a wrap sheet so long that they couldn't fit it on one page. Thumbs Down

What a loser. ttth  muted

On my trip over to the store for the 4th of July BBQ, we had some excitement with regards to shoplifting and Casino cheating!!! propeller propeller propeller

Joey and I were in the back when we noticed some supicious behavior that had happened in the store. When we played back the video of these folks earlier in the day (In different clothes by the way) we noticed some shoplifting by a team of low lifes. This time I am talking about the girl had a large shoulder bag, and when another member of their crew nodded another guy dropped a bag of tokens into the bag while they were kneeling and "looking" at stuff. In this later visit they came back and Joey was suspicious and noted that one of the guys had a large knife on his waist. We saw them on camera taking tokens from the slot trays. They left the store and we called the BHC police. We examined the footage carefully while waiting for the police and I spotted a beat up late model white Subaru station wagon enter the parking lot and then drive out the other side, and seconds later the "crew" walked into the store--- After parking in the alley of course! stir the pot / get cooking When I CSI'd Sherlock Smiley the picture I noticed that the trim/door guard was missing on the rear driver side, and that one headlight had some damage. They avoided the cameras by parking in the alley, but the stupid asses did not think about the fact that they drove right past the camera when they entered the parking lot!

The police loved that we had good footage. We were making DVDs for them to pick up later. The police officer mentioned that they had alerted the Laughlin Casinos and that they started finding tokens in their machines! (Now so everyone knows, these tokens should NOT work in the casino machines because of the coin comparitor as they are dissimilar metals!!! That is unless your coin comps are old and failing!!! Guess what maybe they should have done better maintenance on their machines as they worked in some machines!) When the cop was leaving I mentioned that this crew did not see me or my Mom, so we were going over to the "unnamed" casino to check the parking lot and walk the floor to see if we could spot any of them. We drove the main parking lot and checked a couple potential cars to no avail so we went to scope out the casino. I had a couple suspects in the casino, and I think they felt they were being watched, but I finally verified that they were playing with US coins and not tokens. All around the casino you could see slot techs and management and security checking out machines. sorting through all of the tokens in the hoppers and the drops. I about fell over and died laughing when I saw a tech with a hand full of comparitors saying to his boss "we got another bad one here!" After a while looking around we decided to leave. While driving away I got a feeling and told my Mom that I wanted to check one more auxiliary parking lot. While driving the last row that backs up to the river I spotted a white car "BACKED" in to the space suspiciously. I got out and took some pictures and told my Mom that We found it!!!! Cool Thumbs-Up Jumping for Joey obsessed drool police boss My Mom and I loved the excitement, the thrill of the chase, and the awesome catch! applause applause applause I called Joey and told him about it. We went back to the shop and triple verified with the video and let the cops know. They asked Joey and I to go back to the Casino and meet with security and the police there. I had my laptop and we were playing the survelliance footage for them and it was verified with my pictures. The car was being watched in the parking lot. Stuff happened after that that will not be discussed, sorry. bawling We finally were able to find out (on my recent trip over there) that the result was the suspects were discovered, but that the shop footage was great, yet that the CASINO CAMERA FOOTAGE did not do a good enough job identifying the perps playing the machines! So they walked! Our cameras did better!!! bust gut laughing bust gut laughing bust gut laughing

Nothing ever happened with them, and Joey still wants the tokens back!!! rotflmao This casino had well over 100 dollar tokens played! Duh! That had to come from the time they scored the new bag of tokens!

Back to the current video: (Remember that is only part of the full video of the event!)

The girl was a decoy to get Dottie back behind the register usually like she did in this current video. Joey confronted the guy as he left the store and ordered him back into the store as you can see. He was scared and dropped a handful of Dollar tokens, plus I think he knew that Joey has a 40mm gun on his waist. He took off running in the 110 degree heat. Grandpa followed him in the NLG "Pickle" (The green Golf Cart) while Joey went to their car on the street and prevented the girl from taking off. He took her back into the store to wait for the police. The police then were there en mass and about 5 units went to chase the guy at the ball park and field down the road. He kept running once the cops got to him, and a brilliant cop did not feel like running after him in the heat, or swimming in the river where the guy was fleeing I guess, so he Tazed him!!! Don't TAZE me Bro! Don't TAZE me Bro! Don't TAZE me Bro! Don't TAZE me Bro! Don't TAZE me Bro!

The lying girl was questioned, identified and released. But first she complained about being detained by Joey and the cops said TOUGH SHIT and that she was lucky she was being released AT THIS TIME! Wet Taze boy was brought back in handcuffs and got to see a big smile on Joey's face as he was stuffed into the cop car! Poetic justice if you ask me!!! Hail Clap Clap Clap Hail Members of their posse are still at large, but I bet they will eventually be caught and jailed for something! police police police Their pictures are plastered all over the shop! Cry Laughing

Add: See pics of the car attached!

Cops have always said they have never caught a smart thief ......

From Joeys point its Shop Lifting....which is a scum bag thing to do for a bunch of tokens.  Lets put this down as a misdemeanor for a $75.00 theft.

However the casino play with $100 tokens is probably a much more serious crime (in the eyes of the law) and the fact that its cross state lines compounds this into being a federal crime.
Just guessing but 200 tokens x 100 = $20,000 .........

The amusing part for me is that he could have "bought" the $75.00 worth of tokens and gotten away with his $20,000 casino theft......

Now the real moral of the story  ........ Don't hit on Joeys wife while he is in the back !!!!   Cry Laughing

Lets just hope the law puts him away for a good long time - and there is no retaliatory issues.

Side note,
Arizona, Colorado & many other states have concealed carry laws. As an example a  concealed carry permit from Colorado is good in Arizona but not in Nevada. I don't believe any permit is legal in California.

Nice job Joey. Glad no harm came from the outing. It's a sign of the times. The Government is in your wallet & your camera is on pause.
In Vietnam we had the M-79. Same 40mm, just a different design. What fun.

Jay, just to clarify, he took $1 and 25¢ tokens. The first bag had one-hundred of them. This time he just had a couple of pockets full. knockout

I wonder if Laughlin even has a $100 machine?  Crazy frying pan arrow
