In case anyone ever wondered what the colored beads are for on the Universal Ultra board they are for testing.  The picture shows the "beads"  Their use is as follows:

1. CH1 white  Ground 2
2. CH2 Blue VCC2
3. CH3 Orange +30 volts
4. CH4 Black Ground 1
5. Ch5 Yellow Vcc1
6. CH6 Green Ground 3
7. Ch7 Red  +12 volts.

I don't have Vcc 1 and 2 voltage handy.  Maybe Uniman has it handy.  One word of warning. The ultra does not have a shared ground.  The 3 grounds are unique.

I'm finding Vcc 1, yellow, at 5 Vdc and Vcc 2, blue, also 5 Vdc.

I made a test station with power supply, backplane and mpu board.
Used the white ground with the blue tap and the black ground with the yellow tap.
I don't see where the Vcc 2 gets used?
