It mounts to the back wall of the machine under the reel shelf . Some times the control need to be removed and just the board is mounted if it wont fit as is . There is already mounting for screws in the back wall .  see  attached pic

you really need the mounting plate and cover.
An alternative would be to mount the board to a piece of cardboard then uee double stick tape to attach to the back wall

There might be a 6 pin molex connector tied up or loose if you have a s2000 and not a vision or vision ready
The wire colors are red, orange and black with orange and/or red tracers that is the power
if you got a reel harness you need to install it or see if the one in the machine has a white molex connector that is not connected near reel 3.
you should also have a short cable that will connect to cabinet I/O card mounted to the MPU cover. yes it connects to the connector on the front of the card, the other end goes into the controller.
the end with the iron core on it goes to the cabinet I/O
When was your machine made
If it was late enough the only thing you should have to do is mount the board and plug in the existing connectors.

I say this because I bought a complete S2000 lower harness for my vision ready and it had the back lit reel harness, cabinet I/O to back light controller, and power harness to the controller.

You do have the power harenss for the board it is near the solenoid for the handle.
I suspect the reel harness has the connection to the board as well search around reel 3 for it.
Also look at your cabinet I/O Card and see if a harness is connected to the front connector.
