So i replaced the battery in my IGT (got rid of the error 12) and even got the 61-1 error. closed the door, turned the key, it beeped and went back to 61.

i press the reset again, it flashes and goes back to 61.

i have actually even pulled the CMOS, put it back and gone thru everything again. no luck.

is there anyone in Tampa, Florida willing to come beat this thing for me?

or maybe i'm doing something wrong and you skilled IGT people can point it out?

it's an S+ (double diamond deluxe).

Thanks

You have what we call the "Sumovabeech %$#@!Neverending [61-1] Merry-Go-Round-Error-" syndrome... Sick fever

My family doctor once told me it can be cured by utilizing a Clear chip and resetting your basic coin denomination.

i have a clear chip. i even have a set chip.

where does your doctor recommend i put said chip. (and yes, i have already put it up *there* and it didn't help)

which chip has to come out to have the clear put in?

and i assume after inserting the clear, i have to put the board back and power it up right?

Thanks again.

Clear chip goes in where the game chip was.

After that completes. Put the game chip back in and clear all errors.

Then use your set chip to set any options. That goes where the game chip was too.

You will still get a 61, but it should now clear.

Are there links to what settings i need to make after using the clear chip and then the game chip?

it looks like when i clear the 61_1 code it needs to be configured and i can't find what to do from there?

any docs, links, etc.

Thanks
