How coincidental is this? We've been talking about Pinball the last few days
and IGT puts out a brand new multiplay Pinball slot machine on the market?!?  bust gut laughing

A multi-billion dollar company that's too bloody cheap
and uses youtube to air their promotional video on their own website?!?! loser >>>

I hope WMS overruns IGT into the muddy ground...!!! frying pan frying pan frying pan

The topper arived today and I wasted no time  stir the pot / get cooking on it. I removed the candle and hooked up some power.  This may not be 'minty', but you can't really see the cracks when it's lit up. Thanks again heights310.  Hail

A short video of the topper before I stuck it on top of the pinball

Here is a video of it on top of my 'custom' Space Invaders pinball. I've modified the Beta Brite animations a bit since the last time I updated that pinball thread.

Why remove the candle

You wont be able to get the drink lady (wife) to bring you a beer or cocktail when you press the drink request button!

Mine does if I'm wearing my wife beater t-shirt with the yellow pit stains and spaghetti stains on the front.  LOL!

I did not notice you was installing it on a pinball machine and not a slot

Not the first time I did not notice something like that.

I ran into a small problem. I was having a hard time finding a 24VDC power supply for the fluorescent. The only one I had worked but was getting pretty toasty as it was only rated at 500ma. The electronic ballast says it uses 620ma, and that is probably about right. So anyway, I took a S+ ballast assembly (the ones that use a starter and run off of 110VAC) and stuck it in there. The ballast transformer fit where the electronic one was, and the starter is just tie strapped in place. The bulb holders just snap in and fit in the same holes as the original. So it was really just a 10 minute job. I ran a standard power cord up to it and it works just fine. If I have nothing to do some day, I may put the LED power supply up in the topper base so I only have one cord to deal with.
