Actually I think what you need is a CC16-D 24vdc. Universal sends 32vdc to the comparitor. (My meter reads 34vdc) They require a 330ohm resistor added on that 32vdc line. My machine doesn't have the resistor, still working fine. Guess it would work both ways.

I tried a 24vdc and it working!!! Pretty nice machine too.  It's a Midas Touch take I took in on trade.
